Situated in the centre of Wrexham, The Lemon Tree offers 19 fully equipped rooms, some of which retain the neo-gothic character of the original Grade II listed building. With the beautiful North Wales countryside on our doorstep and the historic city of Chester a stone’s throw away, The Lemon Tree is the perfect base for both business and adventures big and small.

Facilities include: En-suites in all rooms, free WiFi, flat screen TV, complimentary toiletries, free parking and 24hr access.

Breakfast: Served 7:00am to 11:00am Monday to Friday and 8:00am to 11:00am Saturday & Sunday.

Guest Access: We operate a key fob entry system for accessing our building outside of our manned operating hours. You will receive instructions of how to enter and exit the building on check in or via email/Whats App if you have chosen a contact-less check in.

Our Rooms

Choose from 19 en-suite bedrooms across four room types, from cosy singles to spacious king rooms. Every room has free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and complimentary toiletries, and guests can park for free on a first come, first served basis.

Single Room

Our single room is ideal for solo business trips and short stays, with a comfortable single bed, work desk, flat-screen TV and its own en-suite shower room.

Twin Room

Sleeps 2

Two single beds, perfect for friends, colleagues or a match-day trip. Both of our twin rooms come with an en-suite, flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi.

Double Room

Sleeps 2

We have seven double rooms, each with a comfortable double bed, en-suite, flat-screen TV, tea and coffee tray and free Wi-Fi.

King Room

Sleeps 2

Our nine king rooms give you a little more space to spread out, with a king-size bed, en-suite and everything you need for a relaxing stay.

  Myself, daughter and two sisters enjoyed a breakfast at the Lemon Tree on Saturday 17th October. The service and food was amazing. The staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

 Verified Joe on front desk in the evening and the following morning was an the perfect welcome hodt. He ensured we had everything we needed and the needs of our little dog too. Very knowledgeable about the hotel and area. Nothing was too much trouble. Parking was pretty tight but still really good. The room wasn't huge but it was so nicely decorated and so warm and comfortable. The whole place was spotless. Loads of hot water in the shower and the bed was so comfortable. The next morning breakfast was cooked to order. It was absolutely amazing. One full English for hubby and a smoked salmon smashed avocado for me, fantastic.   The Lemon Tree is like Wrexham itself; small but mighty. The room, though smallish because of the historic nature of the property, was well appointed with all we needed. The location is walkable to High Street, the Racecourse Ground and St. Giles.  Each staff member took it upon themself to be our own personal consierge for anything we needed. The prematch meal special was fabulous as was breakfast.

 Verified I can’t say enough great things about The Lemon Tree! Beautiful and quaint outside, very welcoming and clean reception. Matt was amazing checking us in, telling us about the place, serving breakfast, he was so attentive and yet not intrusive at all. The room was clean, modern in an old, authentic way. Lots of storage space, comfortable bed and pillow. Clean and spacious bathroom and shower. Breakfast was amazing! I would highly recommend stay in here. 5 min walk to train station, the racecourse and the Turf, 10 min walk (easy 10) to downtown.
