Welcome

Wrexham lies on the border with England with the beautiful Roman walled city, Chester being only 13 miles away. Wrexham is a busy town with many shops and local amenities, it is an ideal base for shopping or exploring the surrounding countryside of North Wales.


You will never be short of things to do with so many activities and attractions in and around the town, why not visit one of the local National Trust properties Erddig or Chirk Castle.


We have our own museum within walking distance of the hotel or why not go a little further afield, and visit the picturesque town of Llangollen. The scenic countryside offers many rural pursuits including walking, golf, fishing and cycling.

Check-In & Check-Out Times: Guests are welcome to check-in from 3:00pm to 10:00pm Daily (8:00pm Sunday) and are asked to vacate their rooms by 11:00am on the day of departure. There is a member of the team on site from 7am each morning to check out. Or you’re welcome to use the express check out option by posting your room key into the box in the lobby by the entrance

Guest Access: We operate a key fob entry system for accessing our building outside of our manned operating hours. You will receive instructions of how to enter and exit the building on check in or via email/WhatsApp if you have chosen a contactless check in.

Breakfast: Breakfast at The Lemon Tree is a real treat. We’ve become renowned for offering a superb breakfast. We offer a range of freshly cooked breakfasts items prepared from the kitchen. Breakfast is served, as follows:

Monday  Friday – From 7:00am

Saturday  Sunday – From 8:00am

Car Parking: Our car park is located at the front and rear of the hotel and is free of charge to our guests on a ‘first come first served’ basis. If using a Sat Nav our post code is LL11 2LP. We also use the Citizen Advice Bureau Car Park, next door to ourselves as an overflow car park. Please see reception for a parking pass.

Wifi / Internet: Available free of charge to our guests. Our current access code is: LEMON2023 (All Capitals).

More Useful Information

Our Front of House team are available from 7:00am until 10:00pm daily (8:00pm Sunday). Outside these hours we have an on call system where guests can call a member of the team for assistance. PLEASE CALL 07984 183126 for out of hours assistance.

PLEASE NOTE: The restaurant offers an A La Carte menu from 5:00pm until 10:00pm Monday to Saturday, as well as 12pm until 6pm on a Sunday. We also offer Afternoon Teas and a wide selection of Teas and Coffees from 12:00pm to 5:00pm Monday to Saturday.

 

The bar is open daily from 12:00pm until 11:00pm (7:00pm Sunday) and offers a wide range of premium bottled and draft beer, including our very local ‘Wrexham Lager’. We also stock a fine selection of new and old world wines, or why not try a cocktail?

 

 

When leaving The Lemon Tree, please leave your room key at Reception for safe keeping. Please note.

There will be a £25 charge for any lost keys.

Telephones: We do not currently offer telephones within our bedrooms. If you would like to make a local call please ask a member of staff for assistance. International calls are not permitted.

Televisions: Our flat screen digital televisions offer a wide range of TV stations and digital radio. Your television is operated by the remote control in your room.

Hairdryer: A hair dryer is located in the desk or wardrobe. Please ask a member of staff for details. Laundry Service We can take care of small loads of Laundry upon request. However, please allow 12 hours turnaround. Please ask a member of staff for details.

Iron & Ironing Board: An Iron & Ironing Board can be arranged free of charge on request. Please ask a member of staff for details.

Tea and Coffee Facilities: We have provided a tray of complimentary refreshments (tea/coffee, biscuits and mineral water) in your room.

This Service is available at reception at 20p per copied sheet.

Your room will be services everyday however we will only change the bed linen at your request. Towels will be replaced when you place them in the shower, a set of complimentary toiletries are provided for your stay if you require more do not hesitate to contact reception.

 

We have several banks within walking distance which include HSBC, Barclays, Nationwide, NatWest, Santander, Lloyds and Halifax.

We reserve the right to charge guests in full for the cost of replacing, re-instating or, at our discretion, making good any damage to the property, its fixtures, fittings, furniture, soft fabrics or contents of whatever nature. Contents removed from a room may also be charged at their replacement cost. All charges will be treated as part of a guest’s account. Damage of a malicious nature will be reported to the police. A charge of £50 will be added to each account to cover cleaning expenses attributable to spillages. Please report any problems to our Staff.

Housekeeping will return lost property to Reception and any lost property will be stored on site for no longer than two weeks. Collection of personal effects can be arranged by contacting The Lemon Tree. For an additional charge we can arrange for certain personal effects to be returned via Royal Mail.

We take guest safety very seriously. In case of an emergency, please follow the evacuation instructions displayed on or near your bedroom door. Also, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the nearest fire exit and ‘break glass’ point.

In line with current legislation, The Lemon Tree is a non-smoking property and smoking is therefore not permitted anywhere within the building. For the benefit of other guests we levy a fee of £150 to cover the additional cost of cleaning any room where the legislation is breached. We also reserve the right to levy an additional charge for the cost of reinstating any part of a bedroom and/or its furniture, fabrics, fixtures and fittings where damaged as a result of smoking.
