Meet The Catering Dept.

The Catering Dept. is our outside catering team, based here at The Lemon Tree on Rhosddu Road in Wrexham. We provide quality event catering and a mobile bar service across Wrexham, North Wales and Chester. We love designing bespoke menus around your requirements, using the best local produce wherever we can, from local butchers and fishmongers to Welsh meats and cheeses. From canapé receptions, gala dinners and weddings to private celebrations and corporate catering, we embrace all ideas and budgets.

Founded in 2017, The Catering Dept. was born out of our passion for great hospitality, with 45 years of combined experience. We’re dedicated to offering a flexible catering service for any occasion.

Catering for Every Occasion

We offer a truly flexible outside catering service, from bespoke wedding and event menus to simple finger food. Our chefs work tirelessly to make sure every dish is right, serving only the best food and drink on the day, whatever the occasion.

We cater for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, christenings and communions, baby showers, garden parties, product launches, conferences, staff events, charity events and funeral wakes.

Canapé Receptions

Perfect for drinks receptions, launches and celebrations. We create beautifully themed canapés, from sophisticated bites to stylish simplicity, and can plan a canapé menu for any occasion.

Buffets & Grazing

From finger buffets and three-course fork buffets to grazing platters of fresh fruit, cured meats and antipasti, our spreads will tame even the hungriest crowd.

BBQ Catering

A real crowd pleaser for corporate events and family gatherings, with something for every taste. We bring the equipment to you and cook everything fresh on site.

Our Rosette-winning team creates a truly unique dining experience for your special occasion, cooking seasonal dishes with the freshest local produce.
